Position Overview

Our Audi Gainesville team is seeking a Car Wash / Detailer / Porter!

 

As a Car Wash Attendant, this position will be responsible for washing and polishing the interiors and exteriors of vehicles. This position will require attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Scrub and rinse stubborn stains or built-up dirt.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in showroom/delivery quality.
  • Dust and vacuum the interior of the cars.
  • Remove any loose dirt.
  • Remove trash from the car and clean seats/surfaces.
  • Dust and wash car mats.
  • Ensure that tires are soaped, watered down and cleaned properly.
  • Confirm logistical details with Sales and Service Managers.
  • Polish and wax both the interior and exterior of the cars.
  • Perform errands as needed.
  • Perform equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or minimum one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Flexibility to work various hours and weekends.
  • Valid driver license and clean driving record.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to loud.
  • The employee must frequently lift and /or move more than 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – back brace, safety goggles, ear plugs, gloves, etc.
