Warren Henry Automotive Group is looking for an Assistant Dealership Accounting Manager with work experience in the automotive industry.

As part of the dealership accounting team, this individual must be able to time manage, communicate well both verbally and via email, work efficiently, be proficient and demonstrate excellent computer skills. The ideal candidate should have previous dealership experience and be capable of learning our DMS CDK system/processes.

This position also requires the individual to work in the office full-time. 

• Bill New, Used, Dealer Trades, Wholesales, and Fleet deals to accounting within two business days of receiving from F&I.
• Work directly with Finance Managers to ensure prompt and ethical processing of all deals. Meticulously review all paperwork to ensure deal compliance.
• Provide accurate and detailed information for the Bi-monthly Asset Meeting Report Tabs assigned- Provide the team support on the report as needed. Acquire knowledge of the complete Asset Meeting Report.
• Ensure payoff requests are submitted promptly to avoid additional interest charges and obtain a lien release.
• Review all vehicle inventory we owe, and reconditioning schedules on a weekly basis.
• Post factory incentive payments and monitor schedule. Research items not paid and review with F&I Manager and Corporate Manager once a week.
• Submit all F&I & over the counter aftermarket products promptly. Process policy cancellations. Review policy schedule on a weekly basis.
• Review policy work accounts on a weekly basis. Review any discrepancies with Sales Managers timely.
• Post finance reserve, monitor schedule and review with Dealership Accounting Manager monthly.
• Post factory holdbacks.
• Ensure all CIT, dealer trade and wholesale funding notices to accounting daily.
• Ensure parts factory invoices are posted to the general ledger in a timely manner.
• Review Floor Plan totals and Floor Plan equity reports generated daily. Prepare vehicles to be paid off/vehicles to be floored report for CFO no later than 11am daily. Make approved payoff to the floorplan bank before 2pm daily and post all payments and floored vehicles to general ledger daily.
• Daily banking, manage cash flow, incoming wires, outgoing wires and post all bank transactions. Review incoming wire information and ensure appropriate documentation is provided by Sales and F&I team.
• Ensure all tag and title work is completed within priority guidelines and resolve any issues in a timely manner. Ensure DLR DMV payments are posted daily. Review schedule weekly and ensure refunds are processed.
• Provide coverage and training for Dealership Accounting Specialist when needed.
• Assist Dealership Accounting Manager with monthly reconciliations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Indirectly supervises Dealership Accounting Specialists.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive and relevant experience in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train, coach and mentor team members.
• Proficient in dealership software (DMS). Knowledge of CDK Global software preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Proper email and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work in team environments as well as independently.
• Ability to multitask and be highly organized and flexible.
