The incumbent in this position is a proactive and results driven individual who will be instrumental in the process of preparing, recording, submitting and resolving factory and/or distributor warranty claims, accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

  • Processes, prepares and submits warranty claims to manufacturer on a timely basis.
  • Follows up on claims rejection on a timely basis to ensure prompt payment.
  • Maintains knowledgeable and up-to-date on all applicable brand warranty policy information.
  • Ensures all relevant paperwork is available to ensure proper documentation of claims submitted.
  • Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule and makes adjustments to the schedules on differences.
  • Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
  • Perform booking assistance to all brands, such as Land Rover, Jaguar, Infiniti, Audi, ford, Chrysler and Toyota.
  • Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.
  • Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
  • Assists Service Advisor with any OEM Questions as needed.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or minimum one year of Warranty experience or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in multiple brands like Audi, Ford, Infiniti, Chrysler, Toyota, Land Rover, and Jaguar.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Proper email and telephone etiquette.
  • Intermediate level of competency using Microsoft Office Suite.
